Varietal Arbequina
The “Arbequina” variety is one of the smallest olives used to produce olive oil. Violet/green in colour, and more rounded than oval, it ripens early, and produces a very fine oil. When prepared, “Arbequina” olives have an exquisite flavour for eating.
Tasting Notes
The oil has a fruity green olive aroma, with intense apple and banana notes and a sweet after-taste. In the mouth, it is a light, sweet oil, with strong green notes of freshly-mown grass.
Analysis
Oil is the only food which must successfully undergo two analyses to receive the Ministry of Agriculture classification: physical-chemical and organoleptic, as ours does, every year. |
